For anyone visiting Guangzhou. Take a trip to the new residential areas in Huadu. You will see many uniquely shaped apartment buildings (Huadu central city area).. The reason is, the farmers who sold the land to the government for development, refused to move, and their very old old houses, still remain amongst these towers. That's right, not even the government could force these people out of their homes, in spite of their new found wealth. The Chinese government does not own all the land in China, which can be discovered through research of history of China.

GPS Technology is always kept up to date, particularly with DJI drones in China. As long as this is updated on the drone, you will be warned, if operating in an illegal area or height. Most of the time, there is no problem, as long as you operate it responsibly. I live in Guangxi, China, and operate my own drone, without a problem.

Even the government has to abide by the decisions of the judiciary, and the land owners have been successful to thwart the governments attempts to acquire all the land and later pay compensation. Thus, their houses still exist interspersed between the high rise apartments. Don't believe everything that the west says. Sometimes, belief is not fact.

The perception that there are massive controls in China is a misguided notion of the west. There are also people who think they have authority, but in reality, have none. I speak of some security guards, who overstep the lines. They are soon put back in their places when caught out by the police. The other day i saw one overstepping his authority, got most annoyed when told by the police, was then placed in handcuffs and cried like a baby.

@peekaboopeekaboo1165 incorrect. Simply speaking, historically land was granted to people in specific areas, and titles given. These have never been revoked.

@peekaboopeekaboo1165 furthermore, article 13 of the constitution (2004) provides protection of individual property and inheritance rights. I live in a place called Binyang, and many properties are sold here with titles of ownership, not state owned.

@neocort4513 many titles of land granted during the Qing Dynasty the are still recognized today, which was why the article 13 in 2004 was introduced.

@Dawaza Assumption!

@Dawaza again, assumption. Do you live there, : are you sure: isn't this the same in all countries? You have no basis of argument on matters that are irrelevant to the subject being discussed, above.
