  1. Consider this. The U.S. has more to gain then mentioned here. 1. The U.S. wants total control of Germany, to use it for its planned command and control centre, with three new military bases. 2. Take a look at policy in the U.S, to encourage businesses to move there. If German industry can be encouraged to nove to the U.S. imagine the benefits. 3. The U.S. can also use this event to control Europe, as even though some gas will come from the Norway/Poland pipeline, there will still be an enormous gap to fill, which America can fulfill for several years. There are therefore many economic benefits on top of the political control benefits that America can achieve, with potential to minimize if not eliminate recession there. Just my thoughts!
