  1. Correction: there have been many lockdowns in China, or does Larry only get his information about these from the media. Lockdowns have occurred in almost every city in China, some expanded over large areas, and some localized. Recent lockdowns have occurred in Shenzhen, a city not much smaller then Shanghai, adjoining Hong Kong, which quite frankly was infecting the mainland through trade. It is apparent from the conversation (you can review it), if not affecting America, it is not newsworthy, thus not known about.
