  1. Where are these chips manufactured, and by who? These questions are not answered or reviewed here, with the focus on lack of car sales and manufacturing. Perhaps if they looked at these issues they would discover that about 60%+ of chips are made in Taiwan, which had been hit by a drought. Water usage in the manufacturing is extremely high, and this became a problem, reducing output. It had nothing to do with the pandemic!
