  1. Actually, i don't recall Russia refusing to export oil. Weren't Russian oil exports sanctioned by the American call? Little thought, as it effects all people in the world. Did everyone agree to this, or just politicians?

  2.  @PropheticShadeZ  I don't agree one bit with what has happened between Russia and Ukraine. However, as a result the price of oil is skyrocketing, thus it adds to inflation and hit everyone's hip pocket. I am trying to understand why the high oil price, given the US only imports 7% of its oil from Russia, and Germany has said no. So i am saying, one man calls for these sanctions, which has little effect on his country, and everyone else rightfully or wrongly follows. Additionally, when you think about it, cast your memory back to the low oil pricing during the pandemic. I recall the Australian Government stating that it would purchase a massive reserve of, and i can't think of the exact number, but i think it was 1 million barrels. So why has the federal government not stated its plans of alleviating pricing for the Australian public by release of some or all of this oil, or are they going to use it for political purposes to buy votes at the next election. Think outside of the square!
