Yea, I was entirely unprepared for when they threw that in there.

The F20B has a better rod/stroke ratio, revs higher, and although its displacement is 2.0L versus 2.2L, that slight loss in torque was going to be more than made up for with the turbocharger. In regards to the weight difference between FRM and non-FRM liners/sleeves, do you know the weight difference that you are referencing? I've never heard anyone ever bring that up so I'm genuinely curious if you know the difference in weight of those two liners. This chassis has never had an H23 in it, I bought it with a blown up H22 back in 2005 and it has had an F20B setup of some kind since 2005.

Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words. Only you can decide if a chassis is worthy of being the starting point for a build. The chassis is just a canvas, and it is only up to you as far as what canvas you want to begin with.

Those are beautiful, fun cars

Time, execution, patience, and details to a build will make any chassis shine 👍

I AGREE!

Cody is the man and he is my good friend. The car doesn't have a body kit. The sideskirts are PCI Integra shelf applications customized to fit the Prelude, the hood is JUN, and the front bumper is half OEM and half JUN molded and widened to match the fenders. Now the fenders Cody helped me finalize the design, and he made them a physical reality.

It certainly isn't for everyone

I love the dash too. When I was in high school and I saw it for the first time I was in awe.
1
Well they do make a couple of very good RWD cars

@MindedMeister2 I didn't see your comment till after I posted mine. But yea, those are perfect examples.
1
What part of it? Some have said I should have changed the lights, other have said I should have put a GT wing, etc. What are your thoughts?
1

It is one of those chassis that had a moment and then people pretty much just forgot about them.
1
@Random-nf7qb Why do you not like alcantara?
1
@Random-nf7qb It's certainly hard to keep perfect after a long time, that is true. It's a chore to clean.

I don't find the welding job on the shock tower bar to be insanely poor, and I chose to powdercoat the stainless steel in a satin clear coat to lock in the thermal discoloration - it's art to me, so I secured the look on purpose.

O_o
