  3. She was not her writer, she was her producer. That was the other thing that struck me as odd about the video. Producers don’t write scripts. They can pitch you ideas for the show and produce the topics— as in, find and pull clips and coordinate with the editor, etc. My producer never wrote a single word of my show and highly doubt Reagan was writing for Brett. As far as I knew working there, all of hosts wrote their own shows. It felt like the video was just meant to be Reagan PR with the knowledge that Brett could not meaningfully respond to debunk what was said. For example, Brett and Reagan are not friends. Everyone knows that they are not friends. So why did he opt to keep saying “they are friends” in the present tense and then say he was “hurt” and “disappointed” that Brett hadn’t come out to defend her friend? I honestly didn’t know what to make of that.
