What's there to be proud of in something you supposedly have no control over? There shouldn't be a pride month at all but you know, politicians gotta pander.

@Will0wisp_ , equal what? You're treated like royalty these days. What else do you think you deserve for letting previous generations do the dirty work for you? You deserve a day just like Memorial Day. They fought and suffered far more for a far greater cause than you ever will. I was bullied for being gay when I wasn't so I can sympathize a bit but honestly, it wasn't the kind of stuff that happened in the fifties and earlier. Congratulations. You're in a good place now. Tone it down a bit or you'll soon be right back where your predecessors were. ✌🏼

@, welcome to the real world. We all go through those things. Normal people don't celebrate themselves because they have to go through every day struggles. The world has gone incredibly self-centered and snowflake. Good luck. You're going to need it.

@, again, that's life. We all face places where we will be harassed, abused, and discriminated against. My solution is to not go to those places and stay where I won't receive that sort of abuse. That's literally all I want but you want to world to revolve around you. ❄

@RoseGoldPhotography , then stop being afraid. How about trying that? Are you afraid to go swimming in the ocean because a few people get eaten by sharks every year? If you are, stay out of the ocean. Do you see what I'm getting at? The pride group are their own worst enemies. They create their own problems and don't even realize it. They're whiners. ...and most of us are fed up with it and that's normally when you do have to start to become afraid. They get what they want and then they immediately push for more. Now we're talking minors and I think that's why people are getting more tetchy. My recommendation would be to zip the mouth, back off from the lunatic fringe, and just enjoy all the progress that has been made before you lose it. ...because if you stay the course, you will eventually lose some of those gains.

@RoseGoldPhotography , everyone can move. I'm not saying it's easy. I had to leave all my family and friends behind and just make the jump. Sounds to me like their/your biggest issue is fear. That's not a world thing. That's an internal thing. The world is a dangerous place and will never be safe. The more you try, the less safe it becomes. ...but again, it's I we want, want WANT. Yes. That's too much to ask. You should be grateful things are as great as they are rather than prideful for what again? What did you do to advance the LGB movement? Pride because you had to go through some tough times literally like everyone else on this planet? Pride and decadence were purposefully used to get under the skin of the opposition and it was a terrible idea.
