  1. Less than fifty years ago, I would see numerous pickup trucks in my high school parking lot that had long guns in the rear window. Most of them weren't even secured. Not only were they not stolen but not even once did anyone think to use one against anyone in the school. This despite there being fist fights after school almost weekly. Tell me again how the weapons are the problem.
