China has NEVER been known for quality. It's always hit or miss.

@Morpheus-pt3wq , when the cost is higher, it's normally full of imported parts, which is why the quality goes up.

@EnzuWiz , my LEP flashlights, my YAG laser, some glass items, some pots, to name a few. It's about a 50/50 experience for me.

@EnzuWiz , good enough for government work. That being stated, there's just some things you can't get elsewhere, so sometimes I don't even have an option.

@cymeister5261 , that's some serious butthurt you've got there. Love my iPhones. Sorry you can't afford one. Never had a problem with any of them from 3 on up.

@DrCruel , very little of it is actually slave labor. You may not like what they get paid, but it's better than nothing and goes further where they live than where we live.

@gold3084 , eventually but they'll have to prove quality and customer service first while keeping prices lower than other countries that have better reputations. A reputation once sullied is an arduous task to repair.
