Democracies do not protect minorities. Democracy is mob rule and only benefits whoever is in the majority. You make yourself look more and more foolish with each response. Please continue.

Leftists are trying to revise definitions and history all the time. It’s what needs to be done before you can strip people of their liberties and repeat some of history’s greatest mistakes. Representational isn’t the same as democratic even if they are similar. Our founders were well aware of the useful idiots and purposefully put checks and balances in place to guard against a democracy supplanting the representational constitutional republic that they gave us. Ben Franklin even is quoted as saying as much. Why in the fudge would our founders give us anything that resembled the disaster that they fought tooth and nail to escape? They were the victims of democracy. You are seriously going down on the wrong side of history.

We are a constitutional federal republic... https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/us.html Definitions have been changed to suit the narrative just like we saw recently when justice Barrett used terminology that the left wanted to demonize. The definition was changed right after she used the phrase. By any definition a democracy is the rule of the majority since it is the majority that makes the rules. Dude. Seriously. Think about it for a second. No, I don’t think there are any pure democracies, nor have there ever been. You could say that the process of electing our representatives is democratic but that’s about it. Why must Democrats be wrong about so much?
