  1. I was talking to a driver on Friday , and he said 12 hour in a 24 hour period but you need a 7 hour break. So like you said, you could get more than 12 hours if you time your breaks right. And that’s here in Australia. And I prefer the Aussie/American style trucks instead of the cab overs.
