  1. I can’t imagine america changing anything like that. It’s consumerism at its best, people buy cars so that what we’ll do. And unfortunately there isn’t enough profit in have great mass transit systems. Australia is doing great building the new infrastructure on the roads but our cities were built with English cities in mind so they’re all over the place design wise. The thing that pisses off most people here in Sydney anyway, is the tolls on the motorways. The government get civil construction to build them and allow the toll the roads to make their money but don’t stop them screwing over the people after they have made their profits. I was working an hour away from home and with fuel was paying $200 per week! Just too much 🤬
