  1. Unfortunately I’m a casual employee in Australia and I don’t get any paid vacation or holidays. I get 2 weeks off over the Christmas period (unpaid) but that’s it. If I work a public holiday i do get double time. To be honest I’d be happy with weeks (2 paid and 2 unpaid) but that’s not likely. With the cost of living going up it’s a bit of a struggle even with the casual loading I get 20% but if it’s quiet and there isn’t any work for me then and extra 20% of nothing doesn’t really help 😳
