  1. With a couple of small mods, the XR2 was a beast. A friend had one one and with a new Webber carb and a K n N induction kit, some new plugs, it could keep up with an escort cosworth until about 100mph. We come off a roundabout at 30mph, dropped down to 3rd gear and spun the wheels. Great little car 😊
