  1. Aussie health care could be a bit better, but it’s pretty good as it stands. Urgent treatment is done right away, and not urgent you have to wait abit.. that’s fair enough to me. You can also pay for private care and get it done right away but will also have another bill to pay. But the fact there is a massive percentage of Americans go bankrupt within months of receiving cancer treatment tells me their systems are broken and just wrong!

  4. flyhound97 I would argue no cancer is preventable You can reduce your chances. . My mother has had cancer 3 times in 3 different places and thankfully survived all of them through surgery. Her treatment was in Australia and the UK. So we didn’t go bankrupt trying to save her life.

  5. Trisha Hopkins I’m not missing the point. Simply making another point. I lived,worked and grew up in the UK. I’m well aware of the fact he wouldn’t of been charged for his wife’s treatment. And forgot to mention how much he would of paid in America.

  16. Only 2 cases we in Australia has in the last 28 days was from 2 German travelers who tuned out to be negative anyway. We still have some capacity restrictions but but everything is open for business again. Gyms and the like have a 4 square metre per person restriction.

  18. Sorry Kyle I had to disagree. If some people a dumb enough to spend money of shit that doesn’t exist in reality then more fool them. As you said they need to learn a lesson, well so do the people that wasted their money! Celebs advertising to make more money is nothing new. How many do that in other countries and don’t use the products? All of them given a chance!

  19. In Scotland you don’t even have to pay for prescriptions . But if you have the money in the UK you can still pay for private healthcare if you want it, so you don’t have wait for surgeries. But as you said, depending on what’s wrong with you also depends on how long you have to wait. My mother had a biopsy and within a week was back in hospital having life saving surgery for cancer.
