  1. In Scotland you don’t even have to pay for prescriptions . But if you have the money in the UK you can still pay for private healthcare if you want it, so you don’t have wait for surgeries. But as you said, depending on what’s wrong with you also depends on how long you have to wait. My mother had a biopsy and within a week was back in hospital having life saving surgery for cancer.
