This has another even nastier possibility. The US military started recruiting Japanese Americans for radio intercept activities as early as 1940. The Japanese military still used uncoded radio communications even into the early months of the war because they thought that the US wasn't able to understand the language (the Imperial Japanese Navy did use effective codes however for its operations). Was the incarceration meant to hide that usage is a question that I wonder about? I don't know; but the camps began to be phased out by the middle of the war when such secrecy became less important. Add this to racism and economic envy and you have a very poisonous mixture.

Sorry no evidence of the Pilgrims resorting to cannibalism; however, the colony at Jamestown shows some evidence; and it not Plymouth was the first British colony in what is the US today. The actual first (and unsuccessful) British colony was Roanoke; however, the Spanish had colonists in Florida well before Roanoke. So please learn some real history before spouting out misinformation.

This like some refusing to believe the Aztecs actually practiced religious cannibalism of their enemies. A few years ago, archeologists found proof of a Spanish story of a lost convoy and canabalism as well. Still not liked. I remember my first trip to California and reading a roadside sign discussung a Navaho legend of cannibals who lived in caves. Years later the signs are gone.

Boy, these people lack historical knowledge. During the Middle Ages, it was routine to raid an enemies lands and murder his peasants, destroy the farms and towns , kill the animals and destroy the crops. They were the economy of the time. Destroy the economy defeat the enemy. The Mongols routinely slaughtered the populations that resisted them. Yes, these were hand held weapons and bows and arrows; but, deadly none the less.

Cambodia, taken over by a Mao styled communist named Pol Pot. The results should be a lesson for anyone who thinks communism is good; especially anyone who thinks Mao or his pkhilosophy was good.

@mikloridden8276 Where did you get that bit of propaganda from? The US supported the Cambodian government which it largely abandoned when the US abandoned the Mung in Laos, the Non-Communist government in Cambodia, and the Democrats failed to keep our promises to the South Vietnamese. Pol Pot's main support came from the PRC due to his Maoist position. The B-52 missions against Pol Pot and North Vietnamese should tell you something, unless your the result of today's indoctrination machine that calls itself education in the US. In fact at least one book blames the US intervention for Pol Pot's murderous behavior after he took the country. It actually tried to sell the idea the bombing drove the Khmer Rouge insane. What reality are you from?

Oh good guys, they saved the environment by killing one third of the population. Yes, people aren't important to them!

I forgot to add that one of the problems at Jamestown was essentially an communistic system where all food was shared; which meant those who didn't work to produce food lived off the rest, since most were looking for gold that meant little food was produced. That system ended during the next year. Communism is like that, a few who actually produce and the many who pursue goal that are unproductive live off the rest. Communism also has another trait, after destroying the old elite, a new one the party leaders arises. In the old days "Animal Farm" was required reading, written by Orwell,hb who went to Spain a committed socialist, came back anything but a socialist.

The video seems to ignore a reality. The rescue attempt was planned using the aircraft and helicopters of the 1st Spec. Op. Wing and the Army SF resource. The SOW had trained pilots and equipped helicopters (including refueling and extra crews). President Carter wanted all services involved, so using helicopters that could have been based far enough away that they won't tip the scheme. So the helicopters from a Naval carrier in the Gulf. A Marine helicopter squadron was trained for mine sweeping, and had been aboard the carrier for months and the helicopters were tired. The pilots had no experience in cooperating with the elements involved. Why I believe that the SOWs equipment was to be used, I was in the unit.

@mikloridden8276 By the way, I assumed you are an citizen of the US; then I realized that may be wrong. Where were you educated/indoctrinated?
