  2. One of the two charges was a burglary of an occupied dwelling, another way to say home invasion. He was too young to own a pistol (a state felony and a Federal offense), he was fleeing from possible arrest, shot at an officer, hit the officer with a bullet. All this pending a severe charge, what is the problem? He didn't want to go to jail and now he won't.
