@kathyr.8135 i just listened to another news video that was far more informational. The charges were dropped when a state investigator ,etc slip that there were finger prints found in her car tied to three sexual assaults. That is exculpatory evidence and the prosecutor's withheld it, doing so is Brady Violation that could have had the case thrown out with prejudice (i.e. could not be charged again). Withdrawing charges avoided that as well as protected the prosecutor's from possible charges for violating the husband's right to a fair trial. Rumors and dislike do not a case make.

What evidence do all those blaming him have.

By the way charges were dropped due to a Brady violation. It turns out that there were fingervprints found in her car matching those from three sexual assaults. The prosecutor's failed to notify the defense that exculpatory evidence existed, a state investigator let that info slip out. So, in addition to the body being the second found in a search for a third person, other bodies were found in the area. So, possible serial sexual assault case involvement and a possible body dump site, the prosecutor's will have a hard time proving a case. Add to it that the body had been dug up from the grave and scavenged and scattered by animals, the cause of death as well as DNA may be hard if not impossible to determine. No comment if her clothing was found, so were they with her, which could provide evidence of stabbing or shooting, or were they missing a possible indication of a sexual assault or attempt to hide the identity. They will need luck to find a great deal of evidence because of the scavenging.

@firenze5555 If they had actual evidence, there would have been charges. People disliking someone or rumors don't necessarily prove anything. I am not saying that he didn't murder her; but evidence needs to be more than opinions. Given that the area in which she was found has a high number of bodies found there, you can't rule out a serial killer hitting targets of opportunity; and a woman riding a bike alone would constitute that if on a rural road or off road bike path, especially if she had a pattern.

Multiple bodies found in the area; so either murders all consider this a good disposal site, or perhaps there is a serial killer in the region. Her body and another body were found behind for another person.
