  1. Several places he named aren't in Chicago, for example Harvey is a separate city, the same as Ford Heights. So is this about Cook County, rather than Chicago. These are both the reason that the Democrats run the state and pass more and more liberal dream actions.

  2. When were you here? Flash mobs have even damaged tourist areas now; and while downtown is usually safe, but even there can have issues. Tough love is needed not excuses.

  3. They replaced Lightfoot with worse. Dems and Progressives keep pushing liberal BS, including blaming Red Lining for the fact the lack of security keeps business out. Property values drop as safety decreases. The activists push unreal solutions based on utopian dreams. The Dems have been running most of Cook County, the suburban cities and town, and Chicago itself. Instead of providing safety, they provide government programs that don't change individual behavior. Remember Rome paying off barbarians only encouraged more demands or the Saxons paying Danegeld and giving up part of England to the Danes (finally stopping that policy and ruling not paying).
