@alchemisthart4123 Sorry but an non-involved spectator can see more clearly than a partisan observer. Whatever she was like when she was younger, is irrelevant to her now. You said this guy knocked her around for years, did you see that? She was in Atlanta, are you in Chicago, it seems that way from the post? So, you from a 12 hour drive or a several hour flight have current knowledge, I rather doubt it. As too the affect of family, look at Daley the Younger son who got away with murder. Many sins get overlooked or under responded to when the connected are involved. Yes, I don't know the family, but the dynamics are all too common. Look at the event like you would at a stranger, and perhaps you might see the forest not the trees.

@alchemisthart4123 Family and political ties are meaningless at this point; each individual makes the decisions that affect their lives. Yes, a decade of wildness (Did it include heavy drug use?) Will result in meeting questionable people. Just as a privileged background does not insure good behavior; often the reverse.

@jacquelinelewis5213 A local report said that when she was questioned, there were hints of a second body. One was found. Another missing person. Her name was mentioned in the video, not the title. Her mother-in-law was not mentioned.

@alchemisthart4123 Enough said when you mentioned Rev. Jackson who used his brother's (still serving life for murder the last I heard) street gang it was the Blackstone Rangers) to raise funds in the early days. Can you say extortion? I used to run Article 15s, recommend discharges and courts martial; so I have conducted both interviews and investigations before taking action. My son is a member of Federal law enforcement with a criminal justice degree, so I do know a few things. I do agree that the media makes somethings worse and at other times suppresses information, like ignoring Rev. Jackson's brother's role in the early days, the fact that in the Ruby Ridge Event that the initial raid was based on a purjured statement to a Federal Judge (acknowledged in the criminal trial), or any of a number of other events where the media worked to minimize guilt, ethical lapses or misconduct. Yes, for the unconnected or out of favor they do just the opposite; but media bias depends on who is being gored. Obviously, if you live in Tampa and you knew the family in Chicago and the daughter was in Atlanta; your observations are perhaps out of date.
