  1. I should have made it clearer. The city will do nothing other than a survivor's pension for the officer's family. Check out how many millions Chicago alone has paid out to people who were injured or killed while resisting arrest. More concern by a non-governmental entity for the officer and family. That was why.i pointed out the money source, the city doing squat.

  2. Why should gangs fear the police. High speed chases condemned, foot chases limited, condemn if they shoot, and three separate review boards including one that by the nature of its setup will not be evidence based or knowledgeable in the realities of police work.

  3. A city government gave millions, this is not a governmental entity. The city just borrows money; private or union type groups aren't able to do that.

  4. Partially true it is hard to get a license to legally carry; but, the gang members and other criminal go by "I don't need no stinking (feel free to replace that w ith f---ing) license. Neither of the two men arrested could legally own a weapon under state or Federal law.

  5. In this case no, they hit the point where they can't be ignored. The question is how long they stay in jail. How many years before. Paroled because they have been "rehabilitated". Question for the bleeding hearts, how long before you can reanimate the murdered officer? Perhaps, the shooters should stay in prison until she is reanimated.
