The Thai lieutenant even determined a possible assassin, a professional killer. 24 hours later he had been reassigned to the other end of Thailand, and no further work on the case took place. We determined at least five reasons someone would want him dead, and no answer could ever be determined, and at lesst three were related to criminal activities that he had been involved in. At that time, the cost to have a man beaten to death was $5.00 and the probable assassin charged $500.00 per hit. I would, never visit that nation again.
