Given the e-mails that I saw, someone knew she was suicidal and was planning to do something that would make the news. So, why no call to the police? The choice of a church run school is interesting, what does the manifesto that she left behind indicate? Which would have been better someone armed at the school, or the gun free zone sign. Remember this person fired multiple rounds to gain access; plenty of time to prepare to stop this person.

@jonwwillis Can you tell me where you think that you heard this? I haven't seen a reference. It just shows that Red Flag Laws like Gun Free Zones are distractions. An armed defender(s) make better sense. It was armed police who kept this from being worse.

@ScootinIsLife We are on the same page, Gun Free Zones amount to Safe Murder Zones; almost all mass shootings occur where firearms aren't allowed. By the way bars and clubs in most states are gun free zones due to alcohol use; while most states ban weapons from government buildings. That covers almost all mass shootings between the three.
