Even these characteristics ar e not always true. I held a job for years where ugliness in smell and sight were always a potential, and we were trained to function despite that. Was that reasoned control of disgust psychopathic or necessary to do a job which could prevent harm to others? I used. Training films that showed horrible things to people that I trained in order to get them to pay attention to the results of carelessness. Did I feel bad about what was shown or what the students felt, no. I did feel good that by showing this I might save the student's life at some point. Jobs that potentially force you to decide whether someone lives or dies reduces ones dependence on emotion. In otherwords a non-psycopath can display many of these traits without being a psychopath.
