  1. He should have realized that the laws are different 8n different countries and that you sre subject to their laws. Now he will find out that Japanese prisons are like US ones. I used to brief my young airmen about what not to do in Japan and what they would experience if they were arrested.

  2. The conviction rate is because you are not given bail (at least when i wax there) until you confessed. By the way, there was no such thing as police brutality at the time. Why, because talking bto the police gave them reasonable grounds to use force. So, what he might of gotten away with here, will not work there.
