  1. Just as many myths of non-survival as there were myths of easy survival. Truth lies inbetween. I will agree most will die because they will figuratively or actuall kill themselves by their actions. Would the aftermath be nice, NO! But could enough of the world survive to restart fivilization, yes; probably many areas of technology would be centuriesin returning, since most of the underlying skills woud have to be relearned.
