  1. George Floyd turned into a virtual saint, despite having been guilty of a crime, resisting arrest and using drugs. We can debate his death, but that doesn't change his actions.

  2. They claim having legal guns will make it the wild west; but, an illegal gun fight with illegal weapons isn't a problem. Remember it was strictly the law that ended violence and robbery after the Civil War; it was armed veterans supporting the law. The effective turning point was the attempted bank robbery in Minnesota by the James and Youngers that saw them shot to ribbons by the law and armed citizens (many Civil War vets). Perhaps we need to consider our local governments using willing and sworn vets to supplement the sheriffs and police with a surrender or else policy for today's gangs. I am quite sure that both White and Black vets would be more than willing to help.
