  3. He was more right than wrong, but he did violate laws himself. Too young to own the firearm in either illinois or Wisconsin, openly carrying while underage in Wisconsin, crossing g state lines. What he did that was right; defending himself (apparently in all the shootings), trying to prevent arson and destruction of private property, standing up to rioters who were violating curfew. My opinion is that the good outweighs the bad, and that murder one is ridiculous.

  9. If this were 1947 when the UN violated its own Charter to split the area then called Palestine into to states; I would have opposed its creation. I would have preferred to see those European nations who helped with the Final Solution return their lost property Jewish people and pay their share of reparations for their aid to the NAZIs. An example is the French who actively rounded up Jews for the NAZIs. However, today is 76 years later, and we can't change the past or correct past sins; they should be working to find a way to work together rather than being trying to destroy the "other".

  17. !t wasn't industrial sized learning facilities, I went to one decades ago. The difference is parenting and families. I had chores at home, school work had t be done before games, TVs weren't the nanny, and I started working in the family business during the summer (an iron works) before I was 16. High schools sports was allowed, but that didn't change chores and school work while summer work was when I wasn't practicing. I had to decide what my goals were and work toward them, my son did the same. Today, for multiple reasons families have failed to instill values and left it to teachers who don't share values that lead to a mature mind.

  20. Tim, according to what I have read, they took out the loan initially to cover their son's bail of a quarter of a million Dollars. Supposedly the bail was foran "auto incident" (the kind of bail usually seen when you had an accident where people were hurt or killed, especially if alcohol or drugs are involved), the bail should have been returned after the trial. Why didn't the money go back to the bank? A large amount of missing information.

The only true communism resides in subsistence level societies where there is no food if absolute sharing doesn't occur; and there it rapidly changes to leader controlled society when the best providers realize that they are being used, and demand control of those whose survival they guarantee. Late Roman became increasingly socialistic requiring people to follow their parents occupations. When it fell, tribalism and then feudalism replaced it. Socialism isn't good goal, it is the end of liberty and the start of autocratic government.

  27. Driving under the influence of anything is illegal. In most locations possessing a firearm while under the influence is a crime. In the state that I am in, carrying a firearm while in a place that makes less than 51% of its profit from selling food is illegal, even if you aren't drinking. Is the law sane? I think no, but it is the law the police must enforce. The best first step is to get the stupid laws off the books.

  35. Tim is naive about this. Let's look at several items that be found if you search. 1. Canada has charged and convicted a scientist who was smuggling Corona viruses from a research lab in Canada. This was last year before the virus emerged. 2. Several US or in one case a Chinese researcher here in the US were also arrested for similar charges between this year and last. 3. Indian scientists reported findings DNA evidence of other viruses in the DNA of this Crona virus. No one has disproved of those results. 4. The Wohan lab was actually the replacement for an earlier lab which had an accidental release due to poor safety measures. My opinions: 1. The researchers was weapons research. 2. That the initial release could have been accidental and more likely was. 3. That the PRC may have decided to let it spread internationally after it got loose to ensure that the Chinese economy was not the only one affected. 4. That no government in the world would acknowledge that the PRC was engaged in biological warfare in violation of various since that could be grounds for a war; and no government wants to risk a war that could go nuclear. Official scientists would go along with that effort for that reason. An example of this was an anthrax epidemic in the then Soviet Union. They said it was illegally purchased meat that got into the food chain. Years later after the Soviet Union fell, an international research team studied the event that occurred down wind of a Soviet ammunition plant making anthrax ammunition in violation of a bio warfare treaty with the US. I have reason to believe we knew that was true when the event occurred. Congress requested and did not get a response from the Soviets. The military increased concern over bio weapons in their planning, and had begun preparations for large scale inoculations seen during the first Gulf War. No one wanted a direct confrontation with the Soviets at the time so it was allowed to die off with the public; but the military and government didn't do the same. I suspect a similar pattern of behavior is going on today. The military seems to be emphasizing flu shots for the troops especially strong this year.

  37. There is a direct relationship between the White Supremacy traing at Amazon; however, the longest version that I saw indicates an additional element to the issue. After the attack, the delivery driver was shown pulling two heavy boxes of packages toward the door. It was a heavy load, why was a single driver having to handle that amount. Amazon needs a better delivery procedure for that volume of material. So, I blame Amazon for the racist training that gave the driver an easy complaint to make while over stressed and frustrated.
