  1. He was more right than wrong, but he did violate laws himself. Too young to own the firearm in either illinois or Wisconsin, openly carrying while underage in Wisconsin, crossing g state lines. What he did that was right; defending himself (apparently in all the shootings), trying to prevent arson and destruction of private property, standing up to rioters who were violating curfew. My opinion is that the good outweighs the bad, and that murder one is ridiculous.

  2. Someone mentioned the 800 point gorilla in the room, a convicted felon carrying a pistol that he carried across state lines. That is a Federal crime. Sorry, but he needs to be charged for that and assault with a deadly weapon (you don't have to complete an attack to be charged).
