Superficial is the best word for this video. Yes, it talks about totals, but it is the details that explain police numbers. Things like "%half of Illinois police are in Chicago" indicate no real attempt at research. While population density is important, the size can also affect the number of officers needed. Police are not equally b distributed throughout any state. It would have been far more interesting to see stats on officers authorized and assigned in major cities; however, remem b er crime stats can no longer be trusted in many major urban areas since many felony laws aren't being enforced and downsized or inadequately manned police forces have resulted in crimes being unreasonable reported.
