You can have it both ways, you can't ignore the fact that too many "peaceful" protests 8n affect act as shields not for only one off violent people but for violent groups. You can't ignore that protests claimed at people block sidewalks, streets and entrance ways. Get permission to use a park, a s tedium parking lot when to game is playing, or even a business parking lot with the owner's approval. Get the policd involved positively ahead of time. Establish dialogs with them. It can be done. As to the CIA overseas they are no worse than Rusdian, Chinese and other countries agents working here to do the same thing, and I can assure you that they are or US citizens working for them. Is the FBI watching you, or are they actually watching them. This a far more complicated world than just the US.

2020 Protests were used to hide violent people. If even 10% were violent as you said, they are using you to aid and abet an organized group, for example ANTIFA. As far as using the attitude you are complaining about, that cwax exactly why Trump is being charged. The blindness of this speaker is unbelievable; but then he is from Washington State where they called burning building's a protest.

The video indicated 90% of the demonstrators were peaceful. If you know 5hat one tenth of the people are ythere to cause violence and you do nothing to control it; you are aiding and abetting that violence. Also, where the Constitution does it say that a demonstrator have the right to violate another's rights? I post almost the same earlier, but I guess someone's right to hear only their views got it fremoved. You can't have people see another view and perhaps notice that there are two sides.

@whitestrake2760 Wrong in my estimation. You have a responsibility to insure the safety of your actions. If you know that other groups mean to use your activity for cover for their actions (I do not mean the one off idiot that throws a stone, but organized groups) than you must take some responsibility for those actions, especially when those groups hide their face and identities. Yyou can't just ignore that you have given them cover. One of the points of a peaceful demonstration is that bad actors like to put the innocent out front where to get to them; you have to go through them. However, there are groups wearing what amounts to a uniform and Kass to hide their faces that attack using youeaceful demonstration as cover. These are insurrectionists. If you want to have your rights, you should do everything in your power to prevent their actions. It isn't enough to wring your hands and say it isn't us. You didn't address my other point about assuming your right to protest has greater value than the rights of others to travel, work, or be safe. I doubt that you will since that limits where and when you demonstrate. Too many demonstrations are essentially means of what amounts to extortion or bullying. Its like a child throwing a tantrum in the aisle of a storm because the want something? Finally your stating your opinion as a fact. It either shows unawareness of the affect of your actions, or that you have let your opinion become something it isn't, a fact. Opinions are something that we all have, and yours may not be right or theirs may not b be right but both should be respected.

@georgechyz Since most thing called peaceful protests, that i have seen do block toads, sidewalks and entrances, all 9f which in fact impede others. Most don't stick to a planned location, however those that do I can respect them. As to whether you need police powers, I agree you do not; however, you can work with police not ignore them. Get them to help. Yes, I know you consider the establishment your enemy; but I have lived in one country where demonstration organizers and police work together to ensure thar the demonstrators can be seen and heard and trouble makers dealt with. As to age m to provocateurs, how are you sure that they are the authorities? They old just as easily be more r adical elements trying to provoke violence, as was the example I gave of violent agitators behind 8nnocentx provoking the police to come at them through the innocents. That in fact, has been written guidance to some terrorist groups. As I said you have your opinion and I have mine based on reading and training.

@assemblyrequired7342 i think at least in some regards we have similar belief. We both agree that actual peaceful demonstrations occur and even should occur. I suspect that we disagree on the degree to which the organizers bear much 9f the responsibility eh e n other groups use those demonstrations for other purposes. I suspect from e hat I have studied and have heard and been trained about; I have a much different perspective concern the motivation of agent provocateur, not always putting them as agents of the government. To me they can be there increase anger at a government, either to weaken it to enable external attack, its ability to respond to events outside its borders, or by elements with who wish to become the government. This does not preclude agents there for reasons more like those you are more willing to agree with. The existence of hostile forces infiltrated within demonstrations could also be the reason for government agents in the mix. A very complex issue.

@joryferrell7244 I'll name you one, George Soros. I don't know what he really believes in, but check out what he did to the zbritish economy some years ago. He intentionally caused an economic crisis and made a huge amount of money out of 8t. At one point several European countries had arrest warrants out on him for his financial dealings. While he says that he didn't do it, that he wo t ked for the Nazis in Greece during WWII turning in Jews (I don't know if that one is true since I haven't seen any records either way. It seems the only thing that he really loves is money. Supposedly his son now runs things; but given his past, he probably still dabbles in making money out of people's pain. I used his name because of his past which I have read something about; but I don't do I bt that there are others out there with social pathetic tendencies.
