Comments by "Arthur Mosel" (@arthurmosel808) on "PALESTINIANS stole JEWISH land. Unfortunately, it is TRUE!" video.
The question of land ownership makes things hard. Neither side is innocent. During the 30's, the Zionist movement used funds from Nazi Germany (read the Transfer Agreement written by an US Jew with access to Israeli archivez) to buy land from absentee landlords. They then kicked off the tenant farmers and formed communial farms; similataneously they bought land in the cities and hired European Jews to run new businesses and live in housing that they bought or built. Did they do anything illegal, no; however, put yourself in the place of those poorly educated Moslem farmers and tell me why this hellish problem today exists. A deep dive into the history of the land from 1914 on, and you will see why no one on either side can find a happy midcle ground.

@ajvorob9117 Given that they had no where to go and a promise of land somewhere else made no sense to people bound to the same land for generations, they took an option that had no future without realizing that.

@ajvorob9117 By the way, I do support Israel today. The situation is like a broken egg, it exists and can not be undone. I honestly believe that the UN should have used better judgement in the Partition vote; look at that map of the two new states, it was guaranteed to please no one. Additionally, the idea of Jerusalem as not a part of either state could not please either side. It shows disrespect for both the Moslems as nd the Jews; and offered the European states a solution that avoided readjusting their Jewish population and restoring t heir property. Almost every European state actively aided the NAZIs. I can only name three states that had clean or somewhat clean hands; and believe it or not they either were allies of Germany or Co-belligerent states. Finland never allowed any Finnish Jews be taken. Italy did not allow Italian Jews to be taken until after the surrender when the rump fascist state in Northern Italy was completely a German dependency. Hungarian (while anti-semetic and mistreating its Jewish citizens) did not allow its Jews to be taken until after the 1944 Coup that saw its government fall to a pro-NAZI party. The NAZIs genocide could not have occurred without tacit or active aid of the populations that it controlled.

@ajvorob9117 That doesn't march with other sources; however, the fact that your original post said this wasn't always done could explain the differences your sources and mine. The point remains neither side is innocent. The problem today is to find a middle ground between them.

@ajvorob9117 No argument there; however, it fits with the social structure of that area. Best description is a variant of an old adage; first tie is family, the second is the extended family, the next is community/clan, last is the stranger. Trust goes the same way; with the least trust or concern is the outsider. If you ignore cultural sensitivities, you can create lasting emnitity.
