  1. The British were supporting one side in a civil war. It ignored the role of British politica officers. The British tried to change the culture. It than alienated most of the population. Essentially this repeated main the 1880s. Does it sound similar to our actions during the last st 20 years.

  2.  @wineverything7529  That one I hadn't heard. Part of why in the hay day of French colonialism, the French had field brothels to keep their men away from the local women and reduce disease.
