@HarshJain-it2bg the United States has neither the money nor the will to undertake massive infrastructure projects anymore. To convert desert to Jungle requires water, and that water would have to be transferred from other places in the opposition and cost it would be crippling in the united states. If you like to see what could have been, look up a project called the North American Water and Power Alliance.
