  3. I had a Mazda Tribute with the same engine, and it went well. Grunty, but talk about thirsty. I was overjoyed if I got anything over 15 mpg highway. I have read that this engine is half a V12 Aston-Martin V12. See Wikipedia under Duratec. Might explain the good power, and rubbish mileage...
