  1. Possibly just Preventative Maintenance? Better than doing a tour of the country, or giving it to your kid, when the pads are partly worn, or nearly down to the metal. Supposedly, with the rears having already been done, at least it has good brakes for quite some time. Another thought - maybe the guys who did the rear brakes simply couldn't get that R/F wheel off, so made it your problem?
