  1. 5S-FE. Can run like shit, with no MIL, and keep going and going. They don't react well to being overheated, which is odd for a Toyota. Mazda, yep. No coming back from a cooked Mazda, but usually Toyotas can handle getting a tad warm. Anyhoo, they're generally a great engine.

  2. Zip-tie the buggers on, because they're bloody hard to find if they fall off, or get stolen. Nissan Versa covers are like $250 each new, and cannot be found secondhand, unless you want to buy4, or use ugly aftermarket shit ones. Those MUST be zip-tied on, or they'll fall off while parked...
