Especially helpful when the weaker wrench breaks, and sends a chunk of chrome vanadium steel into your face, and you smash the hand that was putting the tension onto it into something sharp and rusty.

Ha! is right. Those axles move around like crazy as soon as you start messing with the control arms. Probably why they need 'em.

Yep, you got caught with the control arms, just like we did. Mongrel job lining those up.

Those control arms are flimsy sheetmetal pressings, probably made in a North Korean prison. Attention to detail? I think not.

I think the weight of the driveshaft pulls the front of the diff down, hence your problem. Bastard Jeeps.

It's not really a single-handed job - you need 2 people, especially if you have a buggered right arm, which I do. But 4 arms are better than 2.

The pointed punch. We call it "The Spike". One of the most useful and versatile tools in the world. When it gets lost, things stop happening, and if you don't find it, you have to make a new one. But I LIKED the OLD one... I wonder where it is today? Come back, you are missed.
