  3. Might be you, but given that the larger percentage of employers, (or business partners), are assholes, and you have an analytical brain, it probably isn't. You're right - the post-mortem generally shows the point where things break down irreconcilably. e.g.: when your boss realises that you know where the bodies are buried... And you can prove it. Suddenly, the last few year's positive appraisals go missing, along with your entire personnel file. And you get accused of taking it. As I told them - why would I take it? I scanned it all as it happened - wanna read it? Always have a paper-trail, my friend.
