  3. L/H threads used to have a notch, or notches, in the fastener to indicate that it was, in fact, meant to turn the other way. At least that's been my experience. Lookes like the bean counters rode again and saved 0.0000002 cents per vehicle by no longer doing that. Lucky old shareholders. Another massive dividend, or not...
