  1. My ex has one of these, but with the 2.4l engine, and CVY. It's a truly horrible car, and it costs her a fortune to keep it on the road. She WAS getting it serviced at the Toyota dealer, and since we had a chat, her maintenance costs have dropped significantly. OK on fuel, not so good on oil - at all. I can't put a finger on what's so horrid about it. I simply think it's uninspired and boring. It's not even a true 4WD, and it's way to small to be an SUV. It's like driving a stapler. Gets the job done, but it's not interesting.
