  1. This happened in New Zealand. Probably around 15 - 20 years ago. A British couple, (why do we let them in - haha?), emigrated to NZ. One of their most prized possessions what a FULLY REBUILT MG V8, with a complete new body shell from Heritage in England, or whatever they're currently called. However, Vehicle Transport NZ refused to issue a VIN, and to cut a long story short, bureaucracy prevailed. Sad. Believe it was sold as parts. I'd have preferred otherwise. Bloody desk people!
