Try driving in Northland NZ. I just replaced 4 tyres because the car sounded like a helicopter. The old tyres were so screwed that I thought I had wheel-bearing problems, but these roads - huge potholes, frigging broken seal. Smashed my car to bits. Had to have all the subframe bushes replaced recently. Pissed off? Yup, and no comeback for my costs. I'm apparently supposed to know where the potholes or manhole covers are, (or aren't), and avoid them. Sucks.
