  2. I had the Holden version. We called it the Ashtray. Was a good car, with a bit of a weird gear shift. 1.8 with a cambelt. Expensive to replace, unless you do it yourself, and then find out that the water pump fails immediately afterwards. Yes, I know why. I haven't driven the model you've got, but I've just been offered a 2.2 Vectra. Reviews are not good, so will avoid.

  3. I hate those generic replacement wheel trims. The el-cheapo ones that the auctions put on. Car then looks cheap and nasty. Refurbishing is a better bet. On a Tiida, each wheel trim is over $235 new for genuine. Sucko!

  4. Why do you do this to yourself? It was cheap for a reason. If it doesn't overheat on a 60-mile fast trip, it might be ok, cooling-system wise, but that stuff looked like glue.
