  1. Re: indicator and wiper switch location. I have cars with both types, and it's not hard. It's just instinctive. Maybe the different interiors remind me which is which? Dunno.

  4. Nice car, and I don't even like the Mondeo - Mum had a dark green one, and now has a silver Zetec which has done 200,000 plus kms. I hate it - it's horible to drive, but she's 84, and drives long journeys on a fairly regular basis, so it must be ok. Your car is terrific. I had a Mazda Tribute with a 3.0 litre Duratec, and I loved the engine. Wasn't so happy with the fuel economy, (worse than my 4.7 OHC Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 High Output), but it was nice to drive. Congrats to everyone who worked on your car.

  6. Had the same engine in a Mazda Tribute "SUV". Went like the clappers. Best mpg was about 12.

  8. Nah. You could get quite a bit more grunt out of the original engine - see the HB Viva SL90 that we got in NZ - I think the Aussies had a similar thing, called the Brabham... Went like a cut cat, for it's time.
