  1. Poland did not "ragain independence" from USSR in 1991 because Poland has never been a part of USSR. It has never been soviet republic unlike Ukraine for example. Poland was soviet satelite state during Cold War era and was first to collapse communist regime and to have free election in june 1989. Poland has always been a separate state.

  10.  @A_Takacs  I did not say it was but this kind of mistakes makes me mad because many ignorant people in Western Europe or North America still has no clue what was the difference between soviet republic and soviet satelite state. It was not the same. Poland was puppet of Moscow, did not ask for it, it was not a choice but Poland was still a separate state with its own borders, national anthem, flag. If some ignorants still mix it, it is insulting for Polish people.
