@redacted7060 USSR invaded Poland together with Germany in september 1939 and held JOINED victory parade. Germany and USSR were allies till 1941. For Eastern Europe USSR was anything but a liberator. Katyn massacre of Polish people committed by Soviets in 1940 rings a bell to you?

@redacted7060 USSR was anythig but a liberator for Eastern Europe. It was another regime Eastern Europe did ot ask for. Real lberators would simply liberate and leave. USSR stayed for decades and it was not even funny.

@redacted7060 First of all I really do not care about uncle Joe's and Austrian painter's personal feelings. The fact is USSR and Germany had a pact signed in order to invade and split another country and that is exactly what they did. And do not even make me laugh with Chechoslovakia example. What Poland did to Chechs was not even invasion, it was not even annexation. It was Polish land grabbed by Chechs when Poland was busy fighting with blshevics and Chechs agreed to give it back. Poland has never had any pact with Germany signed in order to invade another country unlike USSR. Katyn massacre was one of the worst crimes of WWII. These were the most influental, educated, precious people Poland had. 30% of Polish inteligentsia was murdered there. They were not only officers. Poland has been fighting for years to call it the way it should be called and what starts with infamous "G" letter.

@ For many Eastern Eurpeans Sovets were no better than Germans. Real liberators are the ones who liberate and leave. Soviets stayed for decades and brought anything but happiness. Russia loves taking all WWII soviet glory and skipping its dark sides. Eastern Europe did not ask for decades of poverty and lack of development. Stop playing angels.

What was that then? "Non aggggresive act"? "Family picnic"? Is that how "liberators" behave"? What does it have to do with liberation at all?
