  6.  @alexvelara6104  What you do not understand is that Poland is a land of paradox. What government does is one thing while what people do and think is often the other. I am aware there are many problems in Poland but Western Europeans know nothing or very little about Eastern Europe. They have always been looking at Eastern Europe through Russia's eyes and it is wrong. We are not "all the same" and war in Ukraine is a perfect chance to finally realize it. Poland is split and devided. People did not vote for PiS because of LGBT or abortion.

  10. Poland has never been a part of USSR. It was not what we call soviet republic. It was soviet satelite state. It was under soviet infuance but it was a separate state. It was called People''s republic of Poland back then. Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Georgia were parts of USSR, these were soviet republics. Poland was not. It was a separate state just like East Germany or Chechoslovakia.

USSR was a country which included Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Batlic states. Poland was never a part of it. It was forced to live under USSR influence but it was still a separate state. The same for East Germany or Chechosloviakia. Is that clear now?
